FAQs
Do Dogs Stay In A Crate All Day?
1
Nope! We have daycare Monday thru Friday, and the dogs are always out and about the whole day, including nap time. We only crate untrained dogs with destructive/aggressive behaviors. If it is determined that a dog requires crating, this would only occur when I leave the house, which is only for occasional doctor’s appointments and errands. We have crates of all sizes, so no need to bring yours unless desired.
Where do the dogs SleeP?
2
I work to ensure boarding dogs sleep in the same locations as where they would typically sleep at home. If your pup is accustomed to sleeping in your bed, they will be able to sleep in mind! If your training includes overnight crating or prohibiting access upstairs, the same routines and rules will be enforced here. However, it is worth mentioning that some dogs often like to sleep differently when they’re away from home. Additionally, some may feel more comfortable in an open crate or a dog bed than on my bed, so dogs are never forced to sleep in the bed, in a crate, or anywhere else they will feel uncomfortable or scared.
How Are boarding groups Determined?
3
Boarding groups are determined by size and needs, as all attempts to clone myself have been unsuccessful (so far…)
I make a conscious effort to always try to pair together dogs who will be compatible with one another (two crazies or two lazies, for example!), but we have lots of places to separate the dogs from each other if needed.
If your dog is new to Lazy & Crazy, then they will be boarded with dogs I am familiar with and have vetted as well trained, well behaved, and has consistently proven to have no issues or incidents staying with other pups.

How Many Dogs Do you Group TOgether?
4
Group pairings vary based on current pups, their needs, and other special considerations. Groupings can include dogs from same or different households. Some group examples include:
1 Large dog (>40lb)*
2 Medium dogs, 25-40lbs, OR
3 Small dogs, under 25lbs, OR
any combination of the above that makes sense, considering special needs and puppy antics
*dogs over 100 lbs may be considered on a case-by-case basis
